What we look at
When you paste a site address, we open that site from our server the same way any visitor would. We read the pages, the code your site sends to browsers, and the settings your server replies with.
We never log in, never submit forms, never change or delete anything, and never touch your source code or your GitHub.
What we store
The free check stores nothing about your site after the result is shown to you. Nothing is written to a database.
Our server keeps ordinary web logs — the address you asked us to check, your IP address and the time — so we can stop abuse and keep the free check available. These are kept for a short period and are not sold or shared.
Findings
Findings we do not show in the free result are held on our server and never sent to your browser. We do this deliberately: hiding information in a web page is exactly the mistake this service exists to catch.
Only your own sites
You may only check sites you own, or ones you have written permission to test. Checking somebody else's site without permission is against our terms and, in most countries, against the law.
